HTML ART
HTML art is a new art form growing in popularity with the Web itself. Artists, poets, writers, and Web explorers from around the world are finding creative application for the Hyper Text Markup Language of the World Wide Web. Here is a good example.

"...a chance to experiment with the relatively new and mutating art that is HTML."
New Orleans artist Tim Sullivan hosts a colorful Web site studio with several galleries featuring new, experimental works by the artist and invited guests. Works in all of the galleries are first rate, created by talented and capable artists. Tim's own HTML sculpture works are especially unusual and interesting to see -- sculpture in light.

Tim refers to his art as eye candy, and the works are visually tasty and fun to view. Perhaps a more significant aspect of these works is the artist's spirit of exploration, and his realization of HTML as creative medium.

"I have been experimenting with the idea of HTML as an art form, or at least as a medium. [These works] are what I like to call HTML sculptures."

HTML and the Web itself
are source material for a growing number of cyberartists and creative individuals. By their creative explorations, we learn about what works, what doesn't work, and we learn something of the wonder of the creative spirit.

My goals for A&T
are to explore the creative spirit in visual, literary, and Web arts in all of their wonderful forms, with an eye to art specifically created by and/or for new (high) technologies. I want to hear from you about this.

Color is a property of light and not an object in itself.
show your colors

An open invitation to all artists, poets, writers, and creative individuals everywhere:

    - contribute,
    - participate,
    - collaborate,
    - show your colors,
    - light up the world,
    - and spread the word.

Tell me what you want and need to see here at A&T. Here's how:

    - Web site reviews, features, resources, comments, suggestions; see Zn submissions

    - A tip to help it work for you:

Please include your Web site URL and a brief description of your site and area of interest, e.g., cyberpoetry and JavaScript animation, HTML art, etc.

Seeing color is a sensation; subjective, a unique personal experience.

Would you like to see your work in Zn?
