Art Daily News
News of old masters
Art Daily News might be 'the first art newspaper on the
Internet'. First, second, or third, it is one fine resource for
current news and information from the bigger world of art,
especially from the art establishment, i.e., major museums and
institutions -- news of the old masters, so to speak.
More than just news, here you will find information about
exhibitions (updated weekly) and
art fairs from around the globe. If you would like
to test your art knowledge,
try an art quiz, or look for more interesting ideas and
bits in some of the other 'sections' of this extensive Web site.

Like a traditional newspaper,
Affairs of the Art
Works by new masters
A Web site art gallery is not news, but every now and again you come
across one that really stands out, and 4th Line Art Gallery's
Affairs of the Art Web site is like that for me. It is a pleasure
to visit.
Curator Will Rado has assembled an inviting Web site and an interesting
exhibition of fine visual art by special guest painters and film artists.
The result is a perfect blend of art and technology, where the artists
and their works are truly the focus of the site.

First rate works by painters Judith Currelly, Gloria Masse, Heather
and John Stubbs, and Andre Nault are currently exhibited (as of July
1, 1997). Works by film artists Jill Solomon and (photographer) Sam
Laundon, and Rick Raxlen are shown in
the film gallery. Nice design. Great art. New masters of the
information age.
