WHOLE BRAIN ATLAS
Well, here we go again into the wacky and wonderful world of the creative scientists. Seems they are forever up to something new and interesting, doesn't it? From the nice folks at Harvard Medical School, here is the Whole Brain Atlas -- everything you ever wanted to know about the human brain... and then some!

Why a brain atlas?
Why not? Even though a brain atlas isn't exactly art and technology, it is still a great Web site for A&T visitors (or anyone) to visit and spend some time. The subject matter is interesting, and the authors of this site have done a great job of putting together a genuinely useful and entertaining multimedia experience on the Web (and on CD-ROM).

In addition to finding lots of good information about the human brain, here you will find great images of real, living brains. Fascinating stuff! You can even look at some MPG movies if your browser is so equipped. And the navigation interface at this Web site really is a work of art -- be sure to look in to this!

Human Anatomic Variation
An illustrated encyclopedia. Human anatomy, history, fascinating facts and figures. From The Virtual Hospital, University of Iowa. USA

Retina Reference
This Web site is a fascinating reference guide to the human eye and retina. From Dr. Lance Hahn, University of Pennsylvania. USA

I have added these sites
to A&T's Resources Net Links, because I think they are wonderful, creative, interesting, and enjoyable sites to visit. And because creative artists do not live by art alone, but benefit by a side-trip from time to time into the bigger world of interests and ideas on the Web. Try it, and enjoy your visit.
