The Human Genome Project
more about the project, learn about neat things like arrays of cloned DNA that are suitable for comparative fluorescence hybridizations with probes of total mammalian genomic complexity, and look at (really) fascinating data and structures.
It is probably a bonus if you happen to be a geneticist with
some understanding of this material, but I like to look in for
the sense of awe and wonder. For sure, Leo the scientist would
have loved these sites.
